Google Meet is the go-to for teams who just want a simple video calling solution. Zoom is great for teams who speak with clients from more traditional [think older] industries. And then there's Microsoft Teams, the all-in-one collaboration tool that's probably part of your company's software suite whether you like it or not
Let's figure out which one's the best fit for your team
I hope you’re fluent in sign language. That’s the only way I’ve been able to reliably use Google Meet, because the audio consistently sucks or drops
Google is good at many things but Google meet sucks
Which group videoconferencing solution doesn't totally suck, apart from MS Teams? With arbitrary participant sharing screen, no problems with headsets, etc. Discord sucks, Telegram sucks, Google Meet sucks, Slack's Huddle sucks
Google Meet is the worst video conferencing product of all time, and it never gets better, only worse.
ok so zoom was way better than incumbents bc of latency
but now we need a zoom competitor to pop up with WAAAAAAY better UX
who is building this???
Zoom now crashes at least once a day, usually in the middle of meetings. starting to remind me of Homers website in the Simpsons the way Zoom are trying to add so much in, please just do meetings really well.
I hate Zoom with passion. You will open it so you can quickly join a meeting and that is when the idiot will start downloading an update. Update that you can’t cancel.
Very horrible product.
@Zoom why does your app keep crashing on MacOS Sonoma 14.4.1? Restarts my laptop every 5-6 times or so

Microsoft Teams focused on offering the most amount of collaboration features, including extensive file sharing, project management tools, and tight integration with Office apps. Zoom and Google Meet are more focused on video conferencing, though they do offer some collaboration tools.
All three lack advanced AI features, comprehensive search capabilities across meetings, and extensive integrations with modern productivity tools that limit their usecases.
Try Video Calling App; we’ve built it from ground up for the needs of a modern team.
All three have some level of data usage for improving services. Google Meet and Microsoft Teams may use data for enhancing their AI capabilities. Zoom has more limited AI features. Always check their latest privacy policies for specifics.
Video Calling App addresses the major shortcomings of Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet:
